Mini Taiwan Moss on Stainless Steel

Common Name: Mini Taiwan Moss (Taxiphyllum Alterans)

Taxiphyllum Sp. Taiwan Moss is a less common moss that is highly sought after by both expert and beginner hobbyists. Taiwan Moss has an appearance that is similar to Java Moss and Willow Moss making it grow in popularity quickly. Like all moss species, Taiwan Moss is extremely easy to care for and will adapt to a wide range of aquarium parameters and water conditions. Taiwan Moss has the capability to live in cold water tanks along with tropical aquariums. It doesn't require too much lighting and is a great hiding spot for small freshwater shrimp species or fish fry. It can be a slow grower, but if given the chance, is a beautiful addition a planted aquarium. It can be attached to hardscape material using glue, thread or ties and will eventually attach itself with time providing a beautiful aged look.
